Andrew has held senior strategic and operational roles in a number of financial service businesses in the UK and has been providing specialist and unique consultancy services to the independent broker market for over 10 years. At RWA, Andrew works with businesses and individuals to help with business development, growth and strategy formation as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Andrew has led both insurer and broker operational businesses with Profit and Loss accountability and consistently led teams that produced company-leading profit and growth results. He also played a key role in the start-up team of The Folgate Partnership prior to its merger with the Towergate Underwriting Group to form the Towergate Partnership. During this time, he had a leading role in the development of the Folgate 'Income Model'. His responsibilities included acquisition negotiations, valuation, due diligence, integration planning and execution, whilst retaining operational responsibility for budget delivery and income improvement in specialist and non-specialist regional insurance brokers and underwriting agencies.

He is a non-executive Director of Church of Scotland Insurance Services and has previously worked with Chandler Gilmour Associates, a business that specialised in providing Blue Ocean strategy business development programmes (Pfizer, Interflour), and Acquisition and Merger integration support (Highland Spring, Sulzer Turbo Services AG) to businesses across all trade sectors.

As well as the practical, real-world experience of being responsible for producing results from complex businesses, he has benefited from extensive in-house management training and has studied at INSEAD Business School and Oxford University Summer Business School.
